Job Summary:

At Savers, the Warehouse Associate plays a crucial part in the success of warehouse functions on a daily basis. Responsibilities consist of supporting drivers in unloading donations, arranging products, recording weights of items, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within the warehouse. Moreover, the role involves loading trailers, managing inventory documentation, and ensuring safety regulations are followed.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or similar credential is a prerequisite.
• Experience in warehouse or logistics is preferred.
• Requirements include the frequent lifting and shifting of heavy items.
• Paying close attention to specifics and ensuring precise data entry.
• Key math abilities for calculating weights accurately and keeping track of inventory.
• Capability to comply with safety measures and sustain a well-organized work environment.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist drivers in transferring donations onto carts as part of warehouse duties.
• Categorize donated items into sections like clothing, durable items, heavy goods, and household furniture.
• Document the exact weight of products through careful weighing of the carts.
• Position and secure loaded carts in designated storage zones to maintain warehouse order.
• Complete route paperwork meticulously by checking truck weights and submitting precise delivery reports.
• Observe the designated Savers guidelines for trailer loading and monitor the weight measurements of items during the loading phase.
• Provide support in the regular stock inspections and recording of data for maintaining stock-on-hand records.
• Regular cleaning and maintaining clear aisles and walkways are vital to prevent any safety risks.
• Employ a calculator to modify tare weights for calculating the net weights of products.
• Inspect forklifts regularly to make sure they are aligned with company regulations and state safety requirements.
• Assist with the truck loading and unloading tasks for store transfer operations.
• Execute any additional duties as designated, which could involve tasks related to office and restroom upkeep.
